How To-Clay Animals

I was playing with my clay on the weekend, and made a few tiny little animals for my friends. They are simple to make, and cute to look at- what could be better?
What's needed to create them:
  • Clay in your choice of colors
  • 2 seed beads {for eyes}
  • Toothpick-its helpful for putting it together and drawing a mouth.
  • Any extras that you might use in accessories.
How to make them:
  1. Make round ball with your choice of color of clay. This will be the body.
  2. Make 4 small logs with the same color of clay. These will be the arms and legs.
  3. Make a ball smaller than the body. This will be the head.
  4. Create a tail and ears.
  5. Gently put together the parts, then make a tiny pink ball and attach- this is the nose.
  6. Collect 2 tiny beads- called seed beads, and put those in, too. They are the eyes.
  7. Now you can make any little accessories that you want!
After you make 1 or 2, you can play with colors.
Have a great day!

Clay Dolls

These are almost all of my clay dolls (I sold a few before this photo).
Hey everyone! I have had these dolls for a while now, but I never got around to posting them. I sold one just yesterday-by the way, they are ten dollars each. From left to right there names are Meg, Vi, Elizabeth, Minny (the one I sold yesterday), Grace, Lilly, Siobhan, Jewly and Amy. Amy is not for sale because she has already broken many times and I am sure that no one wants a doll whose head falls of easily. I hope everyone is enjoying there summer vacation. Have a great day!

Sinead

Sinead- my teachers doll

Sinead (pronounced Shinade)
This is Sinead, one of my clay dolls. I gave her to my teacher for Christmas and never got around to posting her. Sinead is an Irish immagrant who loves music and cooking. Her best friend is also from Irland and happens to love to dance, so they go perfect together! Sinead is the newest addition to my "kompany". Have a great day!
